After auditioning for several months and enduring a gruelling 4-step selection process, while competing against the very best in Australia and New Zealand, Harry Sills, 7 Ma has been selected to play the lead role of Billy in the upcoming Auckland Theatre Company production of “Billy Elliot” at the ASB Waterfront Theatre in October.
Harry had to compete against over 100 boys to gain this role and put in hours of practice to gain the coveted role. A talented ballet dancer, Harry also had to learn tap dancing to take on this role and will also draw on this singing and acting skills to play this demanding role.
