Our vision is to develop the individual talents of each boy....for life.

Each student at King’s is given a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to grow in a global world. Our job is to ensure every boy who is part of the King’s school family feels valued and is proud of the work he achieves. Boys are provided with the tools to be able to express themselves clearly and to share their ideas. To be creative, innovative and enterprising thinkers. To be curious, enquiring and open-minded. To know how to gather and analyse information and make informed decisions.

1. QUALITY STAFF

The school ensures that it creates an environment where leading teachers wish to stay. Staff are attracted through the school’s investment in professional development. All staff have regular access to both external and internal development programmes.

2. INNOVATIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING

A focus on key teaching techniques is essential.

On-going development of best practice in teaching takes place for all teachers. The school has implemented a detailed review process of its staff with senior staff taking an active role in this process. There is a strong emphasis on developing teachers’ ability to apply thinking skills.

3. COMPREHENSIVE AND EFFECTIVE CURRICULUM

The national curriculum forms a key part of the school's curriculum with the additional advantage of specialist lead teachers.

5. COURT OF MEMBERS

A small group of no less than 15 persons comprising former Trustees, past members of the Board of Governors, or persons who have rendered outstanding service to the School, and who all now have constitutional responsibility to ensure King’s School adheres to its objectives, are tasked to monitor its finances and oversee its progress.
