SCHOLARSHIPS
King’s School offers a range of Academic, Music and All-round Scholarships each year up to the value of 75% of tuition fees tenable for two years (Year 7 & 8). Largely these scholarships are awarded to those boys who would not otherwise be able to attend the school.

YEAR 7 MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS
King’s School Foundation John Henley Music Scholarship
Candidates must have reached at least Music Grade 5 or similar proficiency. Valued up to 50% of tuition fees, tenable for 2 years (Year 7 and 8).

YEAR 7 ENDEAVOUR SCHOLARSHIPS
There are four Endeavour Scholarships offered to Māori or Pacific Island students each year. Tenable for 7 years (Years 7 and 8 at King’s School, followed by Years 9-13 at King’s College). These are financial aid scholarships that include tuition fees, uniform allowance and other expenses. The level of contribution will be independently assessed and based on the current financial position of the family.

YEAR 5 BUCHANAN CHARITABLE TRUST SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a boy who demonstrates all-round ability in academics, arts and sport, who would not otherwise be able to attend the school. Offered annually for entry in Year 5, tenable for nine years. (Years 5 – 8 at King’s School followed by Years 9 – 13 at King’s College).
This is a financial aid scholarship that includes tuition fees, uniform allowance and other expenses. The level of contribution will be independently assessed and based on the current financial position of the family.
