King's Swim School is a world-class facility nestled in the heart of King’s School. We are proud to be recognised by Swimming New Zealand as a Pool Safe facility and also a member of the Australian Swim School Association as well as the International Swim School Association.
Office hours are 8.00am – 6.00pm Monday – Friday and 8.00am – 1.00pm Saturday.
The King’s Swim School is open to King’s School students, their families and also the wider community. Everyone is welcome!
Our lessons start with our toddler programme (aged from 2 years) then our pre-school lessons (3 years to 5 years) which are held during the day including on Saturdays. Our school age programme from age 5 runs Monday to Saturday and includes squads for fitness. For King's School boys lunchtime options are available. All of our Swim School classes are at least 30 minutes in duration. Once swimmers reach squad levels, these classes range between 45 minutes to one hour.
Casual lane swimming is available for swimmers aged above 16 years. Please contact our Swim School reception for more information and the lane availability schedule.

During the school holidays the King's Swim School offers intensive weekly holiday programmes. Repetition is the most effective way for a child to learn, so we offer a five day programme during each term holiday break to help your child progress. During this time there are limited vacancies for one on one individual lessons which have become extremely popular.
