erm 2 saw another great King’s School Production
from the boys as they performed the lively Mel
Brooks musical “Young Frankenstein” – the first time
ever performed in New Zealand! It was a great hit, with
amazing performances from all the wonderful characters
in the show.
This year’s Production involved over 50 boys in various roles
whether on stage, playing in the Production Band, backstage,
lighting or props. Special lighting effects by Mr Gray, the
amazing set design of Mr Orchard and costumes by Mrs
Baynes and Mrs Elliott enhanced what was an incredible
spectacle. Through great teamwork and skilful guidance from
Director Tracey Stretton and Producer Emma Featherstone,
the amazing show played to sell-out audiences over the last
week of Term 2.
