It is always a great day when we board the bus
down to Hamilton to play our long-time rivals Southwell
School and this year was no exception.
It was a beautiful
sunny and warm winter’s day and this time we played games for
all our 1st, 2nd and Colts Teams in rugby, soccer and hockey.
We were warmly welcomed by Southwell and really enjoyed our
day playing the fixtures and sharing our lunch with the students.
We played exceptionally well that day winning both the Tutor
Shield and the overall cup for all codes. What was really exciting
was that our Hockey 1st XI won their match 5-3 and won
the Hockey cup for the first time in 17 years!
