The last
week of Term 3 is always
one to await with anticipation for all the
boys as it is time for the King’s Swimming Sports!
The Aquadome is abuzz with excitement and anticipation
as everyone gets ready to give it their all for their House. Even if
swimming a whole length is a real challenge or if you are trying to
break a school record, the focus is on achieving your personal best.
House caps on, goggles adjusted, toes over the edge, attention
focussed on the start and it’s time to launch yourself into the
warm water of the pool and go for it! Spectators and your
House mates cheer you on as you move up the length of
the pool and the timers are waiting at the end with
their stopwatches and words of encouragement.
All in all, it is a great day at King’s whether you
are an Early Learning Centre boy or a Year 8!
