his year’s Kindy Concert was a big hit with
everyone who attended, from the young 3
and 4 year old special guests, their parents
and caregivers to Popcorn the Clown himself!
Everyone had a great day and were all keen to
return next year to visit the school and play
along with the Jazz Band.
The morning of 6th August kicked off with the
appearance of Popcorn the Clown (A big hit with the
kids) and then it was over to the Jazz Band to perform
such iconic hits as, ‘Smoke on the water’ by Deep
Purple as well as the James Bond theme music. The
pre-schoolers joined in enthusiastically, dancing in
time to the music. Then it was off to get their faces
painted by the Year 8 artists, a quick stop for a juice
and cookie, storytime with their Year 8 buddy and a
King’s helium balloon to take away with them.
